The Louisiana Outdoors Forever Technical Advisory Board will meet at 2:00pm, Tuesday, September 6, at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries headquarters, located at 2000 Quail Drive in Baton Rouge.

 

Agenda:

1.       Welcome and Opening Statements – Bryan McClinton, LDWF

2.       Roll Call – Angela Morejon, LDWF

3.       Approval of September 6, 2022 Agenda

4.       Presentation by The Louisiana Outdoors Coalition

5.       Discuss Letter of Intent and Application Grading Criteria

a.       Applications all must be accepted online only

i.      Step 1: Submit Letter of Intent

ii.      Step 2: With Technical Advisory Board approval of LOI, applicant will be requested to complete Part 2 of the application. 

b.       Review Suggested Letter of Intent and Application Grading document (example put together by Bryan McClinton)

c.       Discuss Project Selection Board Recommendations

d.       Request Technical Advisory Board Members bring suggestions from LOI and criteria provided to next meeting for discussion and determinations.

6.       Review Timeline

a.       Technical Advisory Board needs to decide upon a LOI and Grading Criteria before next Project Selection Board meeting, October 20, 2022.

b.       Questions for the Project Selection Board must be discussed and decided upon with a quorum.

c.       At least 90 days for APA process

d.       Goal: Open for application submissions in January and award funding in February 

7.       Determine Next Meeting Date

8.       Receive Public Comments

9.       Adjournment
