At the Louisiana Wildlife Federation’s annual Conservation Achievement Awards banquet on April 25, Jason Adriance, LDWF Finfish Program Manager, was named Conservation Professional of the Year. The Louisiana Wildlife Federation describes Conservation Professional category as follows: “For outstanding accomplishments by a person who, in a compensated professional capacity, has made a significant contribution to the management, enhancement, or protection of Louisiana's fish, wildlife, air, water, soil, or forest resources or related recreational opportunities.”

“Mr. Adriance’s commitment to the conservation, protection, and promotion of our aquatic resources for the past 23 years at LDWF is reflected in his work and passion for the species he manages,” said LDWF Acting Secretary Tyler Bosworth. “We would like to thank the Louisiana Wildlife Federation for acknowledging Mr. Adriance’s dedication.”
